• Cozy living room with abstract art, blue accent chairs, white lamp, round wooden coffee table, floral arrangement, and decorative book.

    Step One- Discovery

A 30 minute meeting will be scheduled for an initial viewing of your space and discussions around the scope of your project. Our design process is intended to be inclusive and cooperative and realize this looks different for each client. We’ll gain understanding of your objectives and preferences  through this time together and our questionnaire.

A follow up meeting will be scheduled at our office in Wayzata.  This will give you the opportunity to meet our team and gain a better understanding of our operation.  We’ll spend up to an hour together going through our Client Agreement, mood boards and an initial budget based on the wants and needs for your project.

If measurements and photos have not already been taken, we will schedule a time to get that done.

  • Modern living room with beige tufted sofa, decorative pillows, and industrial-style floor lamp with exposed bulbs.

    Step Two- Design

In the schematic design phase, space planning is developed and discussed.  We will get you set up in our Design Files application. Colors, finishes, furniture, fabrics and lighting will be updated in your Design Boards for you to view and approve as we move through the process.

As it applies to your project, contractor estimates will be gathered and communicated.

Another visit will be scheduled to go through selections.  This is a great opportunity to gain a better sense and feel of how it is all coming together.

  • Minimalist bathroom with a white soaking bathtub, beige towel, black side table with decorative items, and a large green plant in a gold pot.

    Step Three- Implementation

Once the design has been approved, we/builder will schedule contractors as needed, order products and create/communicate a timeline for you.  Consider this the time when things are bought, built and delivered.

Designers are onsite to communicate with contractors and to coordinate deliveries as needed.
